Description

Big Holes Made Easy

This large garden auger drill bit comes with an adaptable drive and fits auger powerheads (gas-powered engines) with a 1-inch shaft. It will fit ½-in drills. The 8-inch auger comes with an adaptable drive. It will fit any 1/2-inch drill chuck – or larger drill chucks – with the use of the hex adapter included with this purchase. In addition, the auger bit will fit any drill with a threaded end when purchased with a threaded adapter (sold separately) or quick change adapter for any 7/16” quick change drill.

The heavy-duty digging tip is a replaceable feature that will help you tackle the most challenging digging tasks without damaging the main auger. The leading portion of the digging tip has replaceable auger blades (included with purchase). This allows for an easier and more cost-efficient way to keep your large garden auger performing in top condition for years to come.

A drill with at least 40V of power is suggested. Our drill bundle provides the power you need PLUS TWO bonus batteries and a box – available only from Power Planter! Cordless drills offer the safety of a clutch, which stops the unit from turning when too much torque/twist is reached when a root or rock is snagged, preventing injury to the unit and user.
